Meet Miffy, my friend from school. She's come to stay with us for a week and we have to make sure she eats her carrots all gone, gets looked after, reads her books and does something special that we can photograph and send to school to show what she got up to whilst with the Ashworths.

Opening night highs

Had dinner tonight courtesy of the official opening of Smokey's new restaurant; sharing Baby Back Ribs with Riley and Matilda, what more could you ask for of a Sunday evening after such a momentous day?! Was doing really well until I let go of my helium balloon and it wrapped itself round a ceiling fan causing the owner to have to climb up and retrieve it, Mummy said it was naughty but I just wanted to see how high it would go!

Mummy's claiming it's now HER birthday, think she's just worked out I'm on to a good thing with this birthday malarkey! Still, agreed to help daddy make salmon and scrambled eggs for breakfast.

Burning Down The House

Phew, the celebrations are finally over for this year!  It's been a tough two weeks with all the partying, candle blowing and cake eating, but I'm loving being 2 and tell anyone who cares to listen!

The culmination of this year's celebrations was a trip to the Fire Station and then a party for my Singapore friends back at our house.  Started at 10am and finished at 4pm, that's some hardcore partying!

Turns out Freddie and I share our birthday and we both got to celebrate again today at Kindergarten.

The big day's finally here! I'm 2!!!!

I've had a brilliant day even though Legoland is shut on a Wednesday(?!). I sang myself Happy Birthday on waking, had presents in bed, found another awesome surprise in the basement, played pooh sticks, went on a river cruise, had lunch at my favourite restaurant, no wonder I'm upstairs and fast asleep!

First day at Kindergarten

I've had a lovely day at my new school! I was only supposed to stay an hour on my first day, but enjoyed it so much, I stayed the whole morning! With Auntie Bells' rucksack and Nannan's Fireman Sam pot, I was ready to face anything!

I celebrated early with my old Reigate buddies and had a lovely afternoon. Told Mummy I wanted a chocolate Harry and the Dinosaurs cake and she didn't disappoint! Daddy put in an appearance via ipad to help blow out the candle!
