Bartie* and I exchanged Christmas presents today as tomorrow he's off to the doggy hotel. He seemed very pleased with my selection of gifts.

Late night Christmas shopping

I was allowed to stay up really late and we went to Orchard Road to see the Christmas lights. I had a brilliant time; I got a balloon, tried to get Daddy to buy me a rhino and saw a massive Christmas tree - can we have one like this next year please?!

I did my first bit of cooking today, helped Mummy make some Christmas biscuits - can't wait to try the finished product tomorrow!

We're famous!

First they named a bar after me. Then Daddy was on television, now Mummy's in a glossy magazine - seems Singapore truly appreciates Team Ashworth!

Something's a bit fishy!

Daddy didn't go to work today and instead took me to the largest fish tank in the whole World! It was pretty awesome! Topped off by a well-earned milkshake at the Hard Rock Cafe!

Look what Father Christmas' elves did whilst I was asleep! I'm so glad they remembered about us all the way over here in Sungapore!

Big boy swings!

Yey, mastered it! Didn't fall off or nothing! Love our playground. Everyone comes out to play before dinner so we have lots of fun - just need to dodge the mosquitoes!

Christmas has come to Singapore! It may be 34 degrees out and I'm wearing shorts but hey ho!

Lions and tigers and bears, oh my!

We've had a great time today, we went to the zoo! I saw lions, tigers, bears, rhinos, monkeys and loads of other cool stuff and best of all I rode an elephant! No wonder I slept all the way home!

Run in with the local wildlife

Walking back from the choo choo to our house today, we saw this fellow! A water monitor, just a baby as daddy said they can grow to 3 metres, that's pretty big!

Stinky fruit? No thanks!

Now I like my fruit as much as the next man but I can't bring myself to try a durian. A fruit that's banned in public places can't be good!

Injections, rubbish...

... Lots of stickers for being brave and free cake at the bakery because I was still looking miserable, brilliant!

Maybe we don't need as much bubble bath here?

Ever feel you packed too much?

Yey, all our belongings turned up - first night for 43 nights that I've slept in my own cot - that's a long time when you're only 18 months old, exciting times!

So Mummy made me dress up as a lion (although well done her as our stuff hasn't arrived yet so no idea how she managed to make it!) and then we went out onto the street and the nice people just gave us sweets! Same time tomorrow everyone?!
